Me, an overseas Catholic visitor and a pilgrim of hope from a distant land, traveling from the country with the Cathedral of St. James and its famous Way in Spain, Europe, visits this precious gem so far away from home. I want to thank the kind priest who welcomed me and said hello. Always carrying God deep inside no matter where I go. Hugs in Christ

a year agoThis Cathedral has been closed for an extended amount of time to reinforce it in the event of earthquakes. Situated on the side of a steep hill the site has great views over the city. The entrance when I visited was not through the front but via the vestibule to the right of the building. This may not be the case when there are services. Inside is a simple white interior with coffered ceiling and is bright and contemplative. worth visiting if you would like a quiet moment.
