6 months agoThis church is unique for its structure and the way it's been surrounded by giant buildings. I visited here for a mass offering on sunday evening. The church was almost full. The volunteers were friendly. This was my first visit to this church. We were a group of 3 just went to explore this place. The best thing in New Zealand is that people here are so lovely. The volunteers here were welcoming. The service was at 1630H and lasted for an hour. A beautiful piece of architecture.

4 months agoGreat Mass with beautiful hymn singing and use of Latin in certain aspects of the Mass. Definitely the heart of the diocese although I wish the Bishop can regularly make himself available to parishioners here.

4 months agoVery nice but small cathedral. I found the Croatian and Polish plaques particularly touching as I had no idea NZ had a Polish or Croatian community. There is also a nice little book store next door offering Christian books and mementos.

2 months agoA worthy place to invest in and build an effective city witness of love and charity. Beautiful place to pray with adoration and confession daily. The 7am is particularly beautiful in its simplicity and humble but beautiful reflections, a great way to start your workday. Or try the 8:30am Saturday and public holiday mass.
