7 months agoI would like to express my gratitude to the amazing team at the Salvation Army store in Alexandra. The way items are displayed so neatly and attractively is a reflection of the dedication and hard work of each team member. Special thanks to the manager, Allison, for her leadership and effort in making the store such a wonderful place to visit. Thank you to the entire team—Dawn, Tracy, Ellie, Karl, Jeanette, and Jane—for your contribution to creating such a positive shopping experience. A place worth going. Keep up the great work.

7 months agoWorth a look when passing thru. Staff were lovely and easy parking outside. The store was clean and well laid out. Not highly stocked, maybe because of the holiday time but I did find a nice top. Best of all it’s dog friendly with two pups in store while I was there.

a year agoMy absolute favourite shop! Love being able to pop in and find some amazing things for really affordable prices, which has been a huge help to me and my family over the years! Really grateful. I often go to pop in for 5 minutes and leave an hour later! Whether I'm looking for something in particular or just after some opp shop therapy I always leave feeling better than when I arrived. The amazing staff/volunteers are always so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Love the old time music and the good old yarns. It's awesome to see the community supporting the Alexandra Family Store by donating their things. I also enjoy being able to drop things off, instead of selling them because of the fact that I have enjoyed so many awesome bargains! You get a real sense of community at this place! After the Recycle Centre/Waste busters closed It's awesome to see the community still getting behind the reuse recycle mindset instead of buying new. It really is a Family/Community store! Thanks guys!

a year agoVery disappointed with the workers at this store they should be deeply ashamed with themselves! There was a lovely woman with her potty training toddler with her and instead of being understanding about the fact they sent her and her daughter out in the bucketing rain where she then had to get her poor little girl to pee on the side of the road as there was no open toilets close enough, her excuse was that they had people mess up their toilets before and can’t risk having to clean it up again you would think charity workers would be a bit more charitable, so to the woman who had the audacity to complain about how that mother talked to you, yes you are nasty and you should do some deep self reflection because I don’t know how you can be that selfish that cleaning a toilet sounds worse then helping a struggling little girl who very well should of just peed on your store floor
