a year agoWent in here on Jan 1st for the first time and was so shocked at how big it was! The woman behind the counter was so so lovely and had a good search around to see if they had any tennis balls to go with my new tennis racket finds here! Also got some camping stools, such a well priced place with helpful staff! Definitely look forward to going back regularly!

a year agoUnfortunately, this op shop throws out such an incredible amount of things that there is nothing circular about it. I have spoken to them before I posted this review. I was looking at what was in the bins (for example, one day there was a brand new macpac down jacket binned) and asked where these bins are going. It's going to landfill, the manager said. She then proceeded to repeat several times how they were a charity and doing good things, and that if I would look in the bin, I'd be ruining that. She was quite derogatory in her speaking. I tried to name a few places where they do sewing or other repairs, that maybe I could help them team up with. She was not interested. I understand a lot of op shops are understaffed and receive too much stuff, but they won't even consider a free bin (as many other op shops do). I think they should reconsider whether the shops actions still match with their values.
