4 months agoVery helpful and caring staff with great knowledge of the dog: Clean and dog was looked after well and happy. To get to see the dogs and to apply to adopt, it is a long computer shindig . And the hours of visiting are limited which can make it difficult to see the animals . However you can see by appointment.

4 months agoIf it wasn't for Steph and Christina we wouldn't have adopted when we did. We were hesitant as we just lost our ginger boy. Just so happened to be national adoption day that Saturday so we thought to come in Friday and see if we matched with any cats in the centre. At reception we were turned down and told we couldn't just visit the cats. We were disheartened and were on our way and unlikely to return when Steph came around the corner. Mainly just sad cuz we lost our boy, I think Steph could feel our mamae or pain. I also think she was just smart knowing the overflow of animals needing adoption. We got to come back that afternoon and had plenty of time with all the cats in every room. On reaching our final room was where we found not one, but two more fur babies to take home. Christina was more than helpful and we appreciated the unrushed, informative and caring service provided by both her and Steph. We have two loving little softies at home now named Pou and Luna (Black). The hole in our hearts can't be filled or replaced, but they definitely help the time pass by requiring a lot of love and care. Nga mihi kia koroa mo nga pépé hou

5 months agoWe adopted our cat "Dizzy" (now Pepper) from the Hamilton SPCA and had such a great experience. Hannah was lovely to deal with and made the whole process really easy. Actually, everyone we spoke to was super friendly and helpful. The place was clean and animals looked like they were well looked after. We’re really happy and so grateful, thank you!
