SPCA Napier Centre

Wonderful experience with our introduction to our new puppy. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly…Jess was amazing and made our meet and greet with our other dog so easy…have had our pup about 10 days now and he is a dream!

I was extremely lucky to foster Harlon (Garfield) for a month before adopting him. At times I felt like pulling my hair out as he was so disruptive clawing my carpet, walls, doors and furniture. Rachel at Napier SPCA was a godsend, giving me advice and giving me a scratching post. It's taken a while but he now knows that if he uses the scratching post he will get treats so he'll claw it a couple of times then come running to me and open his mouth for me to pop a couple in. He's a delight, cuddles up in bed, follows me around the house and waits outside the bathroom while I shower. I can't thank the Napier SPCA enough for bringing Garfield into my life and appreciate all the help and advice Rachel gave me.

We have had the most incredible experience with Napier SPCA! We are so grateful for how accommodating they were to our whanau circumstances and in helping us add the most perfect kitten to the fam. We have the most gorgeous little smooch, who we couldn't adore more! Missy is the best.

I recently adopted a quiet, gorgeous, older, male cat. He is cheeky and happy in my quiet home in the sun, lounging all day and loves playing with toys too. The staff were very upfront about what he would need for rehoming and I was able to provide that. He was very shy (naturally) at first but has really come out of his shell. So lovely to have him at home with me.
