a year agoI strongly urge against using this company for building your home. We signed a contract with them in 2019 and was completed in March 2023. Unorganised and very poor communicators. Our first issue was they miscalculated the size of the house causing a breach onto a neighbouring property. It took them almost 8 months to correct at which time our timber framing was decaying. Refused to replace until we had professionals commission testing. City council forced them to rebuild. Delays on every single item after that. Leadership at Stonewood is poor too, and we had little cut through trying to get them to facilitate the franchisee owner to work with us. Now that our house has been built they have failed to take any responsibility for items that need to be fixed and we are having to claim on our master build guarantee. If you’re building a home do your research DO NOT BUILD WITH STONEWOOD!
