4 months agoSo excited about the upcoming North Island Schools MTB champs. Was at Summerhill this weekend for our kids to learn the trails. What a glorious place - on top of the world!

3 years agoWhat an amazing facility for mountain bikers! So many trails. The walk from the car park to the Papamoa Hills Pa site is well worth it - less effort required than climbing from the lower car park off the road to Te Puke. Will certainly be back again to enjoy the expansive views!

a year agoPicked up children from here in a school bus. They had walked from the Poplar Lane entrance to here and they enjoyed the walk.

5 years agoGreat little MTB park. Has a jump and skill area (shut at the moment, I assume because of winter). Majority of the routes are definitely on the advanced/intermediate spectrum and if you are a beginner like me most sections will be a little rough and challenging. Nonetheless great fun. Entrance is for free but you should leave a few coins in the donation box. The owner of the land is a lovely old guy who seems to be around a lot and always open for a chit-chat.
