Taranaki Base Hospital

These guys were epic today reception,nurses,doctors, radiology, orthopedics and a lovely man wearing a st johns top. We have been to many eds and many long stays in hospitals and never have we had the outstanding and loving care like we did here today. Thank you so much all of you. From a mum with a bung son who also really appreciated you all today!

Endless thanks to all the nurses and Dr’s who looked after our boy getting his grommet surgery. We were only met with kindness and care through our whole experience. The added touches of gifts waiting for him on his bed ahead of surgery made all the difference to keep him calm and entertained were so special, along with everyone being so friendly - it just made such an uncomfortable experience really comfortable. I’ve also had the same wonderful experience with the A and E team on seperate occasions, so thank you to them too! You’re all wonderful!

My husband had surgery and follow up physio and he said it would be impossible to fault the excellent care and attention he received. Caring and attentive staff who are really under the pump but they were always there when needed. The Physio Dept were like no other and worked so hard to get him up and running. Now I can't catch the bugger. Thank You from Dan.

I have nothing but praise and gratitude for how I was treated over the last 2 months when I developed Severe Pancreatitis.. The care i received from Doctors, Surgeon and nurses was 2nd to none! I was booked for surgery on 2nd May that went ahead on that date! Special thanks to everyone but especially Surgeons Sarah Brittany and Fraser for exceptional care and sympathy ❤️‍🩹💛

I wish to praise the staff of the Dental Unit at TBH. From reception to Nurses and Dentists this section is simply the best. Friendly and professional, they made me feel welcome and valued. Their work is impeccable and importantly to me, pain free as they relieved me of 9 teeth. Thank you sincerely.
