6 years agoTasman Council is an average council. Usual mixture of staff and elected councillors. Large area to look after. Main head quarters are located in Richmond in the eastern edge of the district. District includes the towns of Mapua Motueka Takeka Richmond Brighwater Wakefield and rural areas in between. The council is contactable by email , phone or by person to person. A news letter comes monthly. Elections coming up in October for 3 years.

2 years agoReally, so it's ok to make 21 people move, law abiding citizens. Just because they have had to live in caravans and tiny homes. Our landlord has had a resource in place for 4 years. Happy to take his money then shut him down. No place for us to go. Shame

2 years agoWe’ve dealt with various parts of TDC on a regular basis & have found them really great to work with. The public communication is fantastic now with newsletters, meetings & social media posts.
