2 weeks agoWe had a wonderful experience during our visit on Sunday morning! I had the best flat white — easily the best coffee in town — and the granola was absolutely delicious: fresh and high-quality. You can really taste the care and attention to detail in the food. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in a long time. What made the visit even more special was the outstanding service from the entire team. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive — the customer service here is second to none. In our opinion, this café stands out as the best in all of Mount. Highly recommended for the quality food, great coffee, and amazing service. We’ll definitely be back!

5 months agoLove this cafe! It has a beautiful vibe, light and beachy and quite spacious. Indoor and outdoor seating The baked goods all look phenomenal, the date scone I got was warm, and moist (which I’m often disappointed with a dry scone so this was a big win) I got the pecorino croast - which was FANTASTIC! I’ve been thinking about it all day and told at least 7 people about it Came here to do a bit of work in the mornings, there is wifi, but could only find 1 plug to charge up my laptop.

2 weeks agoWe had brunch there yesterday. The place was quiet and when we went in, no one greeted us (a waitress walked past us) we didnt even know if we were allowed to just pick a seat or wait to be seated. Then we had to sort out a high chair on our own after we sat down, we also didn't know if they were going to come to us to take our order or if we needed to come up to order. We felt like we weren't allowed to be in the cafe. Which is something I've never experienced. The food was average at best and the coffee wasn't great. Maybe it was burnt, I'm not sure. We also ordered a fluffy for our toddler and they gave us warm milk with some foam at the top. It definitely wasn't a fluffy so we brought it back to the counter and told the barista that this isn't a fluffy, there was no apology at all. When we were done and leaving, no one acknowledged us leaving like a 'goodbye, thanks for coming'. Definitely not the kind of review I wanted to write but I hope this will be used as a feedback and a learning curve as I saw in a recent Google review response from the owner that it is now under new management. All the best with the changes.

5 months agoThe front counter treats and bakes looks Devine, had the berry caramel slice and a reasonable price for the size(10/10), love the half portion idea as I don’t eat much in the morning (not available in Aus). Salmon quiche was simple and filling. Great atmosphere and customer service. Would highly recommend as a foody.

a year agoWe arrived at the right time because it literally filled up completely after we ordered. Brought colleagues as we were on a work trip and I often come here when I visit family. We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch. Tasty and delicious! Coffee was exquisite. Friendly staff who were accommodating and the food came out fairly fast considering all the orders they were hammered with suddenly. Cakes and slices are to die for so we made sure we took some for our car ride back to Auckland.
