6 months agoWhat a lifesaver of a place, especially when the day before I drove all the way into Invercargill to grab coffees! The staff are really friendly here and in case you’re wondering the coffee is fantastic as well. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the occasion to need any of the fresh produce that is sold here, but by the looks of it, its absolutely top quality. I’ve read through some of the reviews here about the pricing, but when you have pretty much a paddock to plate Business where you know the quality and the freshness of the produce that they sell– You absolutely get what you pay for. So yes, it may be cheaper to go to a supermarket that I highly doubt you’ll get the same end result from buying something that’s cheaper not necessarily better quality.

a year agoRang them up on the 3rd of December to see if they were able to process a pig was told to drop it down so we did told the young guy it needed to be unwrapped and popped in a chiller my partner was going to unwrap it before we left the guy told us he would do it. 9th December we get a call to say the meat is stuffed as it wasn’t unwrapped so we are left out of pocket a pigs worth of meat due to there incompetent staff. We rang in advance to see if they could process it had they said no we would have taken it elsewhere was meant to be called back yesterday with a solution but no contact. You would think a butcher would know how to deal with meat but leaving meat in the chiller for 6 days before realising it was there is disgusting.
