The Old Church, Weddings and Functions

We had our wedding at the Old Church recently and it was the most incredible venue. Such a stunning venue with lots of great areas for photos. The food was outstanding and they catered to dietary requirements very well. James was amazing to deal with throughout the planning stage, and Susannah and the team on the day were relaxed, yet attentive, and really went the extra mile. Would 100% recommend.

This venue is awesome. The old church building is superb in every way. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff are so experienced the food was really nice. Thank you to the Manager for fulfilling all our requests.

Had cocktails with fiends and had a variety of snacks and nibbles like cheesy potatoe wedges, chicken kebabs and crunchy cauliflower florets out in the garden. We watched the sun set in the lovely well maintained garden. We then went inside and had some wine sitting on comfy chairs in a warm cozy area with the soft glow of flames from a realistic looking fireplace.

Having photographed many weddings at The Old Church over the years, it remains an absolute favourite venue of mine. Orton's food and service are always top class. The venue itself offers everything you need - accommodation, a variety of ceremony spots (including an indoor wet weather option) with plenty of photo location options on site.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Old Church in February. We can’t rate it highly enough. An incredible venue with exceptional staff, service and food. James and the team went above and beyond. We would highly recommend staying at the Villa- it has such incredible decor and an added bonus of being on-site.
