At the heart of Blenheim Central, The Salvation Army Blenheim serves as both a place of worship and a vibrant community center. Visitors often highlight the warm, inclusive atmosphere created by the congregation and staff, where heartfelt worship is complemented by uplifting music and inspiring testimonies. The welcoming environment encourages fellowship and connection, making it a cornerstone for spiritual growth and community support. Beyond worship, the Salvation Army offers generous assistance to those in need and fosters community through its charity shop, which thrives on donations to help others. It’s a place where faith meets action, offering hope and practical help across the region.

6 years agoWonderful place of Worship and connection. Met some lovely brothers and sisters in Christ. Worship with The Brassband in the songbook and their youth with Blessed be your name and Amazing Grace to name a few. Massive testimonies from amazing people sharing their story. So courageous, we lift them up!! Stayed for coffee, to meet and greet and build relationships. He calls us to this. May we continue our serving heart in our church and within our broader community. Thank U Jesus. Blessings. Vicki Amai 😇👍💯💜😇

4 years agoVisited Salvation Army but no-one was manning the office or available to greet people . Staff were on sight attending to other matters ...left phone call but no-one followed this up ... Flicked message on facebook recieved a response n was told they would get someone from the Blenheim office to contact me ...this never happened . Not sure why they dont have an office admin on site when the doors are open for enquiries...letalone someone follow up on phone message ....

5 years agoVery good people here. If you need help in any way they will help. Another good way to help them is by giving them unwanted bedding and things so they can sell it in their shop. Or use it to help someone else.
