I'm very grateful for The Street. I can see that our pastors and leaders work very hard to help us become total followers of Jesus. Thank you 😃

For some reason, we had the youth? pastor and his wife wanting to interview my partner and I … They instantly started asking personal questions such as what our jobs were etc without even attempting to build any form of rapport . I felt like they were doing so in order to see if we would “fit in” with their community . I do wonder if they were asking these questions to see how much we would be able to tithe as they did not care for much else besides our financial status . I did attend the night church once or twice but it seemed like the youth pastor had a flippant attitude towards preaching . This experience has definitely led a sour taste in my mouth and I have since gone to another church . It seems like the Street promotes exclusivity rather than inclusivity which is the opposite of what a Church should be . Matthew 25:37-40 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ ”
