5 years agoIf visiting New Plymouth...or if you live here..you should visit the cathedral. Although the actual Cathedral is closed for earthquake strengthening there is still much to see. The graveyard is full of people with some of the most interesting stories. The garden of remembrance is a beautiful and serene place to sit and contemplate. There is always a warm welcome at the welcome desk for information

6 years agoHopeful place. Closed because of earthquake regulations and possible danger. You can not see inside but the lovely building and trees can be viewed. A path from Pukekura Park leads to the statues behind the Cathedral and the video shows how it has a table for lunchtime . It is within walking distance from the central business district. The building at the back is new.
