The Warehouse Gisborne

I needed to buy fluffly headphones as mine had broke, and i liked the colour and texture of the headphones, i went up to the counter to purchase it when a short dark skinned male with a forearm tattoo then laughed at me and said he has never seen anyone past the age of 5 purchase these headphones, i felt really sad so i went to return the headphones. I then returned to the Warehouse the next week to grab a controller as i had broken mine raging while playing Minecraft, to where the same male had called me a "Noob" for breaking my controller and laughed in my face repeatedly. I am deeply saddened by this as i love the african community, and i would love for this male to apologize for his actions, or else me and my group "Neighborhood Mommas" will hunt down this individual and rip off his tattoo.

This branch has a large variety of items for cheap as do all warehouse branches which I like, but unlike the warehouse branches in Auckland that I’m used to, this branch doesn’t seem to do quality control on its products. I’m used to just buying things without looking them over knowing that I can trust they’re fine but you can’t do that at the Warehouse Gisborne. Musli bars I’ve bought on several occasions were damaged and the pure NZ water bottles all have holes in the lids and have for a few weeks now. Sometimes the holes are really hard to see but after a day of use the entire top of the lid falls off. I’ve been buying pure NZ water bottles for a while now and have never had this problem before so it’s obviously a bad batch but my point is if you get a bad batch, like how some of the bottles very clearly have holes in their lids, then you shouldn’t stock them. The bottle pictured I bought yesterday and after a day of normal use this happened. Obviously it must’ve had a small hole in the lid for it to break like this when previously the bottles wouldn’t break after a day. I bought 5 bottles over the last few weeks and all of them ended up like this. Yesterday when I was looking at the bottles some had obvious holes in them so I got this one which didn’t look to have any holes but it must’ve had a small one.

Not bad customer service ok,some quality items,some pricey items as well for a wharehouse,had no problems with refunds or swap,parking can get busy during peak times ,located just outside of town close to Noel lemmings others stores which is convenient.

Just bought a Pokémon Decidueye ex box and realised it on the first pack it’s been opened. Had to open the rest to see if they all had been tampered with n they were. Shit job in regluing it, super glue all over the packet. pretty pissed off they ain’t catching on to it yet as their Pokémon cards are always stolen.

The security was racially profiling us as soon as we walked in. When we picked stuff from the shelves and placed them in the incorrect place she came towards us and said that we could be kicked out if we ever did this again. This place has NEVER taken care of how there store looks and quite frankly it’s disappointing for us to be treated like that when clearly other customers did not get the same treatment. It’s giving KAREN so stay safe ya’ll! If this ever happens again I will be recording and suing😘
