What is Urban Edibles?
Urban Edibles is a weekly gardening bee hosted by Sustainable Papakura. It’s not a traditional “crop swap” where you just exchange produce, but an opportunity to participate in a community garden. You can work with a group of people to grow food, share your knowledge, and learn new skills. It’s a hands-on experience that helps build community while growing food for everyone to share.
What to Expect:
- Hands-on Gardening: Get your hands dirty! Help with weeding, planting, harvesting, and general garden maintenance.
- Community Building: Meet like-minded people who are passionate about growing food and sustainable living.
- Skill Sharing: Learn new gardening tips and tricks from others, or share your own expertise.
