2 months agoAlways a nice friendly & welcoming staff member. Have onluly utilized the Pataka Kai service a few times. Parcels aren't really the greatest. Hence the reason my rating is low. No meat every time I've been and the bread is too much and always goes to waste so I don't take all. Need to be careful with those condiments as they are cooked in a factory that utilizes nuts and gluten etc. Not even a week exp left on some of them. Sorry Vision West but your parcels are barely cutting it mate. Pretty sad.

3 months agoI have not had a regular person for my 92 year old father for months, I have called and left messages multiple times, I Have a new person every week, it is tiresome, I have to show them every week what to do. I am seriously going to ask the DHB to change provider. No communication whatsoever. If I was not able to meet them, they would have no clue what is required. Not good enough.

5 years agoVisionWest is an absolutely fantastic caring place for all walks of life and situations. The staff are awesome and treat you with dignity and respect. The have family services, counseling, budgeting, curtain bank, uniform bank, food bank, emergency/short term/long term housing, training and a community meal. They care about people and are happy to help. It is easy to get there walking from the train station in Glen Eden, there is also a bus stop outside. This is the number 1 caring centre in the west.
