7 months agoReally helpful staff there. Very knowledgeable and always happy to assist even in crappy weather. A huge selection of plants and trees, great cafe and mini-golf, driving range, ice-creams, maze and miniature train rides (specific days for the trains but well worth it)

6 months agoI had been to Wals on Sunday last week to attain the event. I enjoyed the event been in train it was fun…Wals provides one of the largest range of shrubs and trees in New Zealand. If we do not have it in store we will do our best to source it for you. All products can be ordered online and delivered within New Zealand. Apart from that it can be in reach within 15min from dunedin.

3 months agoThe cafe has to be the best service in Dunedin, if not NZ! All staff are so friendly, always have a smile ready, and look like they love their job. Water is delivered to tables quickly and there is always a staff member looking out to see who might need something. Love that they have slice samples out at the counter to taste when you pay. Has always been busy when we’ve been but staff are always quick, helpful and not stressed at all. 10/10!

3 years agoGreat cafe and fun attraction spot for tourist and families! The food is very simple and delicious, we got the big breakfast and haloumi special and were very satisfied, especially since the portion size was very generous! The coffee was not bad, could be stronger. The train attraction was so fun and fun to ride as a family! Great for kids and bubs too! There’s also mini golf and lots of outdoor space and ponds to sit for picnics too! Definitely worth checking out!
