Whangārei Park Village – Metlifecare Retirement Village

Very little consideration for the existing residents during the development process, mum has had no view with noise and dust for over a year.

I drive an old lady here once a week, to visit her recently admitted husband. The location is lovely and flat with park-like grounds, neat and cared-for gardens and good car-parking close to the front entrance. She told me the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, light and spacious. Her husband of course would rather be at home.

Oh Wow... I can't rave more highly about this resthome. Awesome staff and very well managed property make this such a caring home with great values. I'm so happy we managed to get my mum a room here. She loves it and is thriving. I could not ask for better!!

My Mother in law has lived here for 2 years and the food quality has become poor. Not healthy meals especially for diabetics. Change needs to happen for All to be healthy and safe🙏

I visit my mum on a very regular basis and Swyn Park has Awesome caring staff, who are always cheerie and will stop for a wee matter if approached. Questions are no trouble to be answered. There is a great selection of food from menus for residents and visitors, like myself, can join their loved one for a small fee. There are plenty of activities to keep most residents happy. I like the fact that the facility is a Resthome, but has Hospital and Dementia wings as well. The grounds are well maintained and external visits to various places keeps boredom away.
