a week agoWhilst this seems to be a well looked after supermarket with lots of variety. What i feel it does lack is people on the tills during peak times, can be huge lines which makes it a huge backlog and we having kids under 5s with you, it can be a nightmare trying to be able to get sorted quickly and get out of here. This isn't the first time I have noticed this either so would be great for more people on tills so this doesn't happen

a month agoThis is our local supermarket (1.5km from our house). This site is inappropriately staffed to cater to the demand on the store. The line Wait times are significant which is poor management and planning. I now drive to New World 5km away or freshchoice as these stores are better catered to customer throughput and customer experience. We often find many of our local residents are now doing the same.

a month agoINCREDIBLY RUDE STAFF Went up to customer service desk as a young kid trying to get a part time job at mid day on Mon 30th June. As any normal kid, I felt very nervous and the lady got stuck into me about how I was intimidating and rude for asking to speak to the manager. Then as I’m walking away says that my approach was awful. Completely ruined my confidence.

4 months agoIt's unbelievable how Woolworths Bayfair lines are massive at the counter, every single day. It's been weeks since the waiting in the line is unbelievable! So stressful. Such a disrespect with customers and to your staff. They are clearly not happy about doing the work of 3 people. There is always only 1 counter open... how can you guys do that? What sort of budget you have to manage such a massive supermarket chain? Not even the budget PaknSave does that to people. You should be ashamed! Honestly!

2 years agoAs at 29.12.22, i rate this store a very good 4 out of 5 - Due to the great customer service initiated by the Manager, running this Countdown. Service; Great service, I asked for help and the woman who served me said the policy in the store is if the customer asks they will certainly help me to pack my items. Contrasted with Waiata Shores Countdown in Takanini ( who have a very rude checkout operator by the name of ' Logan', he chose to drink Red Bull, zero customer service and was condescending as heck! Friendliness; most of the staff were friendly ( although when I asked an Indian staff member where the eggs were he chose to not look up at me , look at his phone and said Isle 7. When I said I'm sorry what did you say that is when he looked up at me and said Isle 7. Cleanliness; This store provides wipes and hand sanitiser. Store us clean and in good order. Equity; good amount of cultural representation. There is a variety of men and women and most are from different backgrounds and cultures in the store. Great store compared to others. If you found my review helpful please give me a thumbs up 👍🏼 and don't forget to follow me on Google Maps as I highlight the sublime and not so sublime goods and services available to us travellers.
