Woolworths Church Corner is a beloved grocery store located in the lively suburb of Riccarton. Shoppers consistently praise the exceptionally helpful and pleasant staff who enhance the overall shopping experience, making it a preferred destination for weekly household needs. The store features convenient parking options and a welcoming atmosphere, especially appreciated by customers with specific accessibility requirements. While the team at the chemist and younger staff members are often commended for their politeness and attentiveness, the friendly vibe throughout the store ensures a warm and efficient visit every time.

5 months agoEmpty shelves. No meat for sale. Ordered online and got all the meat we ordered “not supplied” so went into store and the pictures below show better than I can say…

2 months agoUpon further visits to this supermarket, I am writing a new review. I have had nothing but good experiences here. The staff are always so helpful and pleasant to deal with. I believe it will be my new favourite place to do my weekly household shopping. If you go at the right time, there are plenty of great accessible parks available, right outside the door. You will always be able to find a helpful staff member within the store or as you check out. As a person with specific access needs, I can not ask for a more helpful bunch to assist me. I do, however, still think there should be a lift available to the public for the underground parking.

2 weeks agoFor the fourth, or fifth time in recent weeks, they have one till open when there are five customers with trolleys. So instead of 6-7 items, I only bought one. PaKnSave are far better at this. So, its a 1 star review.

4 months agoChemist Staff are amazing always helpful and polite Thank you for your service.. Countdown .. the young staff are great I like how they observe and are always on hand with a smile.. as for a couple of the older females. y'all need some lessons on your people skills and maybe learn to smile 😊 no one likes to see a couple of old grumpy Karens who obviously don't like their jobs. May as well stay home.

4 months agoWhile shopping around 9:55 PM, and the staff were already asking everyone to leave. I politely asked if I could quickly grab a protein bar, but was told, “Buy it tomorrow.” When I mentioned that tomorrow is Easter Sunday, a middle-aged lady staff wearing sunglasses responded with, “Buy it Monday morning you should leave .” None of them have a smiling face . Seems all of them are siblings by bad attitude lol This level of customer service is extremely disappointing, especially from such a reputed brand. most of the shelves were nearly empty.
