6 months agoThe refurbishing is currently ongoing. You will be able to see some changes in the inner layout soon, “Woolworths” logo will also be installed. Good store, good products. Used to be a sushi bar inside but it’s gone.

a month ago5/5 Visit. I came in for some chocolate yesterday and left with a big smile on my face. I was greeted at the self checkout by a supervisor named Ashleigh! She approached me with grace and kindness. Definitely made my night and I hope she gets a pay raise as she was doing an amazing job and went above and beyond at making sure I was happy when I left the store :)

5 months agoI recently visited Woolworths on Clarence Street in Hamilton, NZ, and I must say, I was really impressed with the overall shopping experience, especially when it comes to the arrangement of fruits and vegetables. As soon as I entered the store, the fresh produce section caught my eye. The fruits and vegetables were beautifully displayed, with each variety clearly organized and easy to find. The quality of the produce was exceptional, with vibrant colors and fresh textures that really stood out. The fruit section was particularly impressive, with neatly arranged apples, bananas, oranges, and berries that looked so inviting. I could easily tell which produce was in season, as it was displayed in clusters that made it easy to shop. The vegetables were equally well-organized, with leafy greens, carrots, and other staples arranged in a way that made everything look fresh and ready to be picked. It was clear that Woolworths on Clarence Street takes great pride in their produce. What I also appreciated was the way the store had set up the layout to ensure smooth flow. The produce section was conveniently located near the entrance, making it easy to grab fresh items right away. The wide aisles provided plenty of space for shoppers, and I didn’t feel cramped at all while selecting my items. I also noticed how the store was well-stocked in terms of vehicles—carts and baskets were readily available and easy to grab. The cart area was organized, and I didn’t have to search for one, which made the shopping process quicker and more convenient. Overall, my visit to Woolworths on Clarence Street was great. The store’s thoughtful arrangement of fresh produce, along with the smooth and efficient shopping experience, made it a pleasant outing. I’ll definitely return for my future grocery trips!

4 months agoLooks a lot smarter now the Woolworths rebrand has happened. Spacious and well stocked. A bit of dumb entrance though. A random come blocks the main door and you have to enter via the exit doors. You can't make this stuff up!

2 months agoVery disappointed at the lack of care for ensuring the disability parks are used by disability card holders. Not to mention the parks need to be repainted. It's actually extremely dangerous and I hope it's dealt with soon.
