Woolworths Huntly

I read other reviews the staff seemed fine the lady at the checkout was very friendly, wished us safe travels. The supermarket has a great range of products fresh, frozen and tins and vegetables. Good sized store prices seemed good

I'm not sure who does their purchasing, but they don't do a good job compared to other Woolies sites. Always running out of the basics, butter, even their milk supply has been running low lately. You have to check the dates on things like bread (have been caught out buying bread that is passed it's date). Have noticed that the selection of items has shrunk quite a lot, so when 1 brand has run out, there isn't a good selection of others to choose from. Another example of poor buying, they ran a special on lamb leg roasts, except they didn't have any right up until the last day of the special. Even then, no one knew it was coming in, so when the normal exuberant prices resumed, they had heaps of stock. Very cunning and not surprised due to how all supermarkets run in NZ, although would have expected better from one supplying a small town. Staff could do with smiling a bit more. Customer service skills for some are non-existent. Perhaps that's down to the poor management than the actual persons attitude.

You almost get everything at one place. Price is also good and you have enough varieties and brands in each section. Staff is helpful and seems to be kind. We got all types of vegetables, fruits, dry fruits, spices, dals, milk, beers, etc. Almost every household item you can think. Enough space for car parking.

The only Countdown in Huntly.. Prices and special comparable to other countdown's around NZ. Small store but we'll stocked. Staff were quite friendly.

Worst shop ever, have hardly anything you need there, when you ask staff everyone ignores you and walk away and on top of that they give you attitude!!! Grow up management your shop is a freaken joke, you should be ashamed of your poor management and the quality of staff you employ!!!
